Christchurch police have confirmed the body discovered last week on a West Coast beach is that of missing Christchurch man, Kurt Green.

The 30-year-old was last seen in the Blaketown Beach area, near Greymouth, on 9 March.
The body was discovered by a search and rescue team on 2 April on Rapahoe Beach, on the West Coast.
The death has been referred to the coroner.
