A woman cyclist died in a collision with a truck in Palmerston North on Sunday morning.
The incident happened just after 7am as the truck and the cyclist headed along Summerville Drive.
Jocelyn Goodwin, 51, from Palmerston North, died at the scene.
Police say Mrs Goodwin was an experienced road cyclist and frequently took part in cycling events.
Officers have formally spoken to the driver of the truck, and are still speaking to witnesses.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
