Police in Dunedin are investigating a death threat made by a Dunedin resident against former Australian netball coach Norma Plummer.
Netball Western Australia says it became aware of the threat against Plummer - who now coaches the Fever in Perth in the trans-Tasman netball league - by means of a posting on her personal website late last year.
Investigations revealed the comments were made by a Dunedin resident.
The Fever were in Dunedin last week to play the Southern Steel.
Police say information from Australia in relation to the threat has been received and the matter is ongoing.
