Police are investigating an explosion at a house in Auckland they suspect might contain a P-lab.
Senior Sergeant Simon Welsh said residents in a Point Chevalier street reported a blast about 9am on Saturday and fire crews and police were called.
He said police suspect there have been drug-related activities in the house and the National Clandestine Laboratory Unit is investigating.
A middle-aged man has been arrested and is likely to face drugs charges.
