The Christchurch City Council has announced a proposed staffing structure for the new Office of the Chief Executive.
It will take in areas currently dealing with communications and consultation, elected member services, civic and international relations, internal audit and Civil Defence and emergency management.
Acting chief executive Jane Parfitt said the release of the proposal to staff on Thursday follows major changes to the executive leadership structure that were announced in last year.
The director of the Office of the Chief Executive should be announced in the next few weeks.
