Police in Christchurch are investigating two separate assaults on streets workers in the central city, which occurrred early on Friday.
A police spokesperson said a woman was sexually assaulted shortly before 3am in Bealey Avenue and another woman was assualted in Manchester Street about two hours later.
Police do not yet know if the same person was involved in both attacks.
