Dunedin police are stepping up their search for a woman missing since Tuesday.

Gae Pantel, a motel manager in Mosgiel, was last seen that evening at a friend's house in East Taieri.
Police described the 67-year-old as short and of slight build, and say she suffers from ill-health.
About 30 searchers are combing the Taieri and Silverstream areas, and are also looking in areas as far south as Kaka Point.
Police are urging people in the Mosgiel area to check their outbuildings in case Ms Pantel is there.
Senior Sergeant Kelvin Lloyd said on Thursday that police share her family's concerns for her safety.
