A court has heard that DNA from an unidentifiable male found on Mellory Manning's body does not belong to the man accused of killing her.

Mauha Fawcett, 26, is charged with murdering the 27-year-old Christchurch woman in December 2008 as part of his gang initiation.
The Crown says Mellory Manning, who was working as a prostitute, was picked up on Manchester Street by Mongrel Mob members including Mauha Fawcett, and taken to a gang property in Avonside where she was attacked, raped, and killed.
Forensic scientist Jayshree Patel has told the court that swabs from Ms Manning found DNA possibly belonging to one of her clients as well as some from an unidentifiable man.
She said none of Mr Fawcett's DNA was found on Ms Manning's body or clothing.
