A fire on a truck forced the closure of section of State Highway 27 in Waikato as fire fighters put out the blaze.
The truck, which is carrying paper, caught fire near the Ngatea turnoff, in the Hauraki Plains, after 7am on Friday. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
Traffic was being diverted around the closed section of road.
