A second person has pleaded guilty to fraud charges relating to the collapse of a major Canterbury clothing manufacturer.

The charges were laid by the Serious Fraud Office and arose from the 2009 collapse of clothing company Lane Walker Rudkin.

A defendant, who has name suppression, pleaded guilty in the Christchurch District Court on Wednesday to one charge of dishonestly using a document with intent to obtain a pecuniary advantage.

Six other charges were dropped, as Judge Jane Farish agreed the parties had come to an appropriate resolution.

The defendant will be sentenced on 25 November.

Last week, former Lane Walker Rudkin director Kenneth Anderson pleaded guilty to fraud charges involving almost $120 million.

Mr Anderson admitted three representative charges of dishonestly using a document and one charge of using false documentation to obtain funds under a letter of credit facility provided by Westpac.
