Police search teams, using sonar equipment, have recovered a jacket belonging to a man who went missing from a boat in the Marlborough Sounds.
Craig Alfred Partridge, 45, from Marlborough was lost overboard from his vessel in the Endeavour Inlet in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The Navy will bring in specialist equipment and crew to assist with the search on Thursday morning.
