Police had to use skirmish lines to deal with an early morning brawl among a group of drunk women in a Hamilton street.
They say a number of 111 calls came in shortly after 2am on Thursday about a fight in the suburb of Enderley.
The police say the first officers who arrived found about 25 highly intoxicated and agitated women on the street, and backed off.
When a police prison truck and extra staff turned up, a skirmish line was formed so officers could clear the street, and the group was dispersed.
Police say they are trying to identifying the women involved.
