Extra government funding for budgeting services has been spread across 92 organisations.
The Social Development Minister announced a $1.5 million boost in funding for budgeting services in the May Budget, and on Tuesday released a list of the recipients.
Paula Bennett says the funding has been aimed at organisations with the greatest need and those facing high demand for their services.
The biggest allocation of $110,000 will go to the Federation of Family Budgeting Services in Wellington.
The Salvation Army will receive $73,000 and the Mangere Budgeting Service Trust in Auckland $45,000.
