Greypower and Age Concern say they're being left in the dark over the replacement for a programme for mature drivers that's been axed.
Funding for the programme, Safe with Age, which was aimed at helping the driving of people over the age of 55, was cut in August.
The Transport Agency says funding was discontinued because, with just 4000 people using it a year, Safe with Age wasn't value for money. It says it is developing a new programme that will attract more people.
But a Greypower spokesperson, Violet McCowatt, says the organisation has been left in the dark and doesn't know what to tell its members.
Age Concern says it also hasn't been kept informed.
