An extra 500 seats are now available for the 2010 World Cup qualifying match between Bahrain and New Zealand in Wellington on 14 November.

All 34,500 seats at Westpac Stadium were sold at the weekend, and a plan for an extra 3000 temporary seats on the ground was rejected by FIFA for security reasons.

However, an extra 500 seats have been freed up in the main stand.

The extra tickets go on sale next Wednesday.

The tie is level at 0-0 after the first leg in Bahrain. New Zealand needs a win to secure a place in the FIFA World Cup finals in South Africa next year.
