New Zealander Kris Gemmell showed he is approaching top form with a silver medal finish at the latest round of the Triathlon World Championship Series in Yokohama.
It follows a bronze in London last week to further boost Gemmell's ranking ahead of the season-ending Gold Coast race next month.
The Yokohama event was won by the Beijing Olympics champion Jan Frodeno.
Another New Zealander, Bevan Docherty, also enjoyed a strong return to the series after illness, with a solid fifth place finish.
