A woman has been charged with murder over the fatal stabbing of a man in Nelson earlier this year.
The 57-year-old died in Nelson Hospital on 3 March after the attack near Victory Square.
At the Nelson District Court on Tuesday, a 59-nine-year-old woman was charged with his murder and the attempted murder of a 30-year-old woman relative who suffered life-threatening stab wounds.
Police have previously said the victims and accused are Chinese nationals and are closely related. All the other details of the case remain suppressed.
The woman was remanded in custody to reappear on 29 July.
