Four former directors of Lombard Finance will apply to appeal their convictions to the Supreme Court.
Last month, the Court of Appeal rejected a bid by Sir Douglas Graham and three other former Lombard directors to have their convictions for making false statements in a company prospectus overturned.
Lombard Finance collapsed in 2008, owing 3600 investors more than $111 million.
The High Court last year convicted Sir Douglas, William Jeffries, Michael Reeves and Lawrence Bryant of making false statements in a company prospectus.
The Court of Appeal upheld that decision.
Lawyer Jim Farmer said on Monday an application to appeal to the Supreme Court will be filed in the coming weeks.
