A hot air balloon carrying seven people is missing after disappearing over the Pacific Ocean near the Peruvian capital, Lima.
It's thought the balloon was lost about 200 kilometres south of Lima, and was probably swept by a strong wind into the Pacific Ocean, which was covered in dense fog.
Peruvian navy units backed by a helicopter are searching the area, AFP reports.
The owner of the balloon says all six of the tourists and the pilot are Peruvians.
