A Whanganui police officer charged with corruption has appeared in the High Court in New Plymouth.
Hayden Clifford Bradley is charged with seeking sexual favours from a motorist in return for ignoring a driving offence.
The pre-trial applications were heard in court on Tuesday but the details were suppressed.
Mr Bradley was suspended from work in February.
Justice Timothy Brewer has reserved his decision about whether a trial will proceed.
