A man is under arrest in relation to armed robberies at two banks in Auckland.
The Lynfield ASB and the Pakuranga Westpac were both robbed within about an hour on Monday.
An Onehunga man, aged 30, is due to appear in the Auckland District Court on Wednesday. He is charged with assault with intent to rob and aggravated robbery.
Police say a resident who noticed suspicious behaviour around the time of the Westpac robbery, recorded some valuable information and passed it on to them.
