A man has been arrested and charged with the murder of a baby in Whanganui.
Hinekawa Topia, aged two months, died in Whanganui Hospital from head injuries in January.
Detective Senior Sergeant Neil Forlong says a man, 29, was to appear in Whanganui District Court on Tuesday.
The arrest was made due to medical information recently obtained by police.
Hinekawa was a triplet. Her sisters were placed in the care of Child, Youth and Family afterwards.
