An autistic man missing in the Auckland suburb of Henderson has been found safe and well.
Police say the man has a mental age of five and was walking with his mother when he became scared of a barking dog and ran off.
He had last been seen in the vicinity of Great North and McLeod roads at 2.30pm on Tuesday.
Police said he had later been found safe and well.
