12:19 am on 15 June 2012

A new campaign has been launched to reduce the effects of alcohol in Maori communities.

The ''Taihoa (ease up) on the drink'' campaign is being organised by the Alcohol Advisory Council.

It will introduce community activities to counter the affects of alcohol.

The campaign features Maori community leaders who speak about their own work on reducing alcohol-related problems.
