ACC Minister Judith Collins says it has been agreed that Mr Judge will remain as chairman until the end of June to complete the financial year.

Mr Judge was appointed chairman of the ACC Board in March 2009 for a three-year term.

He will take up a new role as ANZ National Bank chairman later this month.

Paula Rebstock, who chaired the Welfare Working Group, will be acting chair on the ACC Board until a permanent appointment is made.

ACC has recently been embroiled in controversy over its dealings with Auckland claimant Bronwyn Pullar.
