Two prisoners who escaped from a Waikato prison are to appear in court on Monday.
Jesse Ibell, 23 and Wayne Holmes, 24, escaped from Waikeria Prison near Te Awamutu on Wednesday night.
The pair were caught by the police in Dargaville on Saturday afternoon.
Police say information from the public led to the arrest.
They will appear in the Whangarei District Court on Monday morning.
