Church urges tax cut donations to charity

The Anglican Church is urging voters to donate their tax cuts to charity.

The church's social commission says those that can afford to live without the extra $12 to $28 per week received since 1 October, should consider the causes needing help.

It has set up a web site with suggestions for where people to donate their tax cuts. They include foodbanks, refugee families, the SPCA and international aid.
