An American man charged after a crash near Turangi in which three students were killed, has re-appeared in court.
Five other students were injured when their van rolled on State Highway 46 last month.
Stephen Houseman, 20, appeared in the Auckland District Court on Thursday morning, on three charges of driving causing death and four of careless driving causing injury.
He was remanded on bail until another appearance next week.
