Police are seeking information from the public about a Nelson man who is facing 108 charges of sexual offending.
William Herbert Mortensen, 53, made a third appearance in the Nelson Court on Tuesday.
The new charges included sexual violation of a girl aged under 12 and 107 charges under the Films, Video and Publications Act.
Police opposed name suppression as they believe members of the public may be able to provide further information relevant to their investigation.
The accused was remanded in custody and will reappear in Nelson District Court on 25 June.
