Hurricanes upset Highlanders, Warriors win again

The Hurricanes upset the Highlanders at home on Saturday night, beating them 26-20 in their Super Rugby match at the Forsyth Barr stadium in Dunedin.

The Highlanders led 14-9 at halftime and the lead seesawed throughout the second half before winger Julian Savea clinched it for the visitors with a powerful run to score wide out.

The teams each scored two tries.

Beauden Barrett kicked 16 points for the Hurricanes.

Meanwhile, in rugby league, the Warriors made it two NFL wins in a row by beating the Sydney Roosters 30-26 at Mt Smart stadium in Auckland.

Both teams scored five tries but the difference was the Warriors' James Maloney, who converted all five for the home team.
