Police in Auckland are seeking the owners of a five-metre-long boat discovered near Tiri Tiri Island in the Hauraki Gulf.
The aluminium boat was found on Friday morning after police and the Coast Guard received reports of an overturned vessel in the area.
A police helicopter carried out an extensive search before locating the boat with its bow sticking out of the water.
However, police say they have had no reports of any missing people and want the boat's owners to make contact.
