Police in Christchurch are looking for a barefoot man who robbed a petrol station after telling the attendant he had a gun.
A police spokesperson says the robbery at the Shell Carlton Corner service station happened shortly after 1pm on Friday afternoon.
The spokesperson says a man approached and threatened the sole woman attendant, claiming he had a gun.
The man - described as being of small build - had a black shirt wrapped around his head and was wearing black track pants.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
