Five Korean fishing officers have pleaded not guilty in the Christchurch District Court to 26 charges of illegal fishing.

The charges relate to their actions on the Oyang 75 in 2010.

They include dumping of under-sized fish, making false or misleading statements, and hindering fisheries observers.

The case was adjourned on Thursday until June when evidence will be taken from the five Korean officers and six Indonesian crew members.
