Wellington police have arrested two teenage boys in connection with a spate of fires and burglaries in the suburb of Kilbirnie early on Sunday morning.
Three cars, a boat and a truck were set alight in the suburb between midnight and 3am.
In addition, three houses were burgled and one of the houses was set alight.
Nobody was injured in the fires.
Police say the pair, who are both 15-years-old, will appear in the Youth Court on Monday, facing charges of arson and burglary.
