There's uncertainty in the ranks of the New Zealand First Party over its future now it is no longer in Parliament.
Party leader Winston Peters failed to retake the Tauranga seat on Saturday, and the party fell short of the crucial 5% party vote threshold, leaving it with no MPs in Parliament.
Deputy leader Peter Brown says he doesn't know what lies ahead, but the loss could be the end for New Zealand First.
But president George Groombridge says the party will fight on. So far, two electorates - one in Auckland and one in the central North Island - have expressed an interest in continuing.
Mr Groombridge says Mr Peters has not yet discussed with him whether he plans to stay on as party leader.
