New Zealand First has released its party list, with sitting MP Dail Jones dropping to number 14.
Party leader Winston Peters and deputy Peter Brown are in first and second slots.
The party's other MPs, Ron Mark, Doug Woolerton, Barbara Stewart, and Pita Paraone, make up the remainder of the top six slots.
But Dail Jones, who re-entered Parliament late in the current term, has dropped to number 14, from number eight on the list.
Winston Peters said he is unsure why Mr Jones has been dropped down the list, saying the list is a party matter and he does not have a say.
Ron Mark's daughter, Melanie Mark, enters the party list at number 11, and the former Treasurer Brent Catchpole is number 15.
