Television actress Robyn Malcolm kicked off the Green Party election campaign in Wellington.
The Outrageous Fortune star told party supporters at the 5 October launch that she was endorsing the Greens because she had lost faith with Labour.
Green Party co-leaders Jeanette Fitzsimons and Russel Norman unveiled the party's advertising campaign, telling the 200-strong crowd that the election was about more than just politics.
They outlined the party's successes in the last three years, pointed to similarities between the two major parties, and assured supporters that the Greens will advocate for those who do not have a voice.
Dr Norman said at the launch on 5 October the Green Party will this week release the criteria by which it will judge the policies of other parties, and will let voters know in the coming weeks who the party could work with after the election.
