Police say it is now unlikely, but not impossible, that more bodies will be found in Christchurch's earthquake-stricken central city.
Canterbury District Commander, Superintendent Dave Cliff, says the number of people confirmed dead remains at 166 but that number is likely to rise to about 180 as human remains are matched with the DNA of missing people.
Superintendent Cliff also released the names of six more earthquake victims, who were from China, the Phillipines, Turkey and Christchurch.
They are:
Marina Arai, 19, of Japan
Valquin Descalsota Bensurto, 23, of the Philippines
Adrienne Meredith, 36, of Christchurch
Yoko Suzuki, 31, of Japan
Tao Wang, 29, of China
Didem Yaman, 31, of Turkey
This brings the total number of names released to 129.
