Crusaders' home games moved to Nelson

The Crusaders will play their first two Super Rugby home matches at Trafalgar Park in Nelson, following the closure of AMI Stadium because of earthquake damage.

The Crusaders were scheduled to play the New South Wales Waratahs in Christchurch on 4 March but that match will now be played in Nelson.

The following round's match against ACT Brumbies on 11 March will also be played at Trafalgar Park.

AMI Stadium will be closed until mid-March while a detailed damage assessment is carried out.

New Zealand Rugby Union chief executive Steve Tew says it will provide support staff for the matches in Nelson so Canterbury Rugby Union staff can concentrate on the aftermath of the earthquake.
