Two more Monday aftershocks

The fresh wave of earthquake aftershocks that started again in Canterbury on Boxing Day has continued on Monday.

A 3.4 jolt was recorded 20 kilometres south-west of Darfield, at a depth of five kilometres, at 5.18pm.

And at 6.28pm, a 3.5 shake was recorded within five kilometres of the town, at a depth of nine kilometres.
