An online map has been created to show what's open and closed and what emergency facilities are available to residents affected by the earthquake.
The map shows what's open and closed in the quake zone. Details include petrol stations, welfare centres and road closures.
Users can add information to the map, which is at mapquake.co.nz or msd.govt.nz/emergency/index.html
