Fletcher Building is up 6 cents to $7.90, Telecom is up half a cent to $2.565 and Contact Energy is up 5 cents at $5.65.
Pyne Gould Corporation is up 1 cent at 33 cents, a day after announcing Australasian Equity Partners has launched a takeover offer for the firm.
Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is up 2 cents to $2.63 and Mainfreight is up 5 cents to $9.85.
Sky City Entertainment is up 1 at $3.46 and Sky Television rose 2 cents to $5.55. The Warehouse is up 3 at $3.25,
In currency markets, at 5.20pm the dollar was trading at 78.2 US cents, 78.52 Australian, 50.05 pence, 59.95 yen and 0.5739 euro.
The TWI was at 69.14.
