Stockmarket drifts down

The NZX50 index has closed down 7 points, or 0.8 percent, to 3255 in Monday's trading.

Among the share price movements, Fletcher Building was up 10 cents at $7.39, Telecom lost 14 cents to close the day at $2.50, and Contact Energy was down 13 cents to $5.38.

Sky City Entertainment was down 4 cents at $3.43, Auckland International Airport was unchanged at $2.26, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare lost 4 cents to $2.45, and The Warehouse was down 2 cents to $3.18.

New Zealand Oil up 2 cents at 66 cents, NZ Refining down 5 cents to $3.20

Hallenstein Glasson gained 27 cents to $3.45 after announcing its profit fell 6.6% to $18.3 million in the year to August, compared with 2010 year.

Pumpkin Patch gained 10 cents to close the day's trading at 89 cents, Tower lost 4 cents to $1.38, Ryman was up 3 cents to $2.55, Xero down 7 cents to $2.68, and Wakefield Health down 19 cents to $4.81.
