Comvita has issued a profit upgrade, as sales continue to rise.
The medical honey products manufacturer expects to make $2.2 million in the first six months of its financial year compared to $400,000 in the same period last year.
It says sales are 18% higher than they were a year ago, with sales in Hong Kong and Australia exceeding expectations.
Comvita is forecasting a full year profit of $7.3 million compared with $3.6 million in 2010.
