The New Zealand sharemarket was up on Friday morning.
At 12:34pm, the NZX50 index was up 9 points, or 0.3%, at 3317 on turnover of $32 million.
The Australian 200 index is 29 points, or 0.7 percent, at 4217
The New Zealand dollar was trading at 83.54 US cents, 78.75 Australian cents, 52.3 pence, 64.79 yen and 0.6004 euro. The Trade Weighted Index was at 72.42.
Fletcher Building was up 2 cents to $7.75, Telecom was up 2c at $2.495 and Contact Energy was up 3c at $5.40.
Sky City Entertainment was up 1c at $3.50, Sky Network Television was unchanged at $5.50 and Auckland International Airport Ltd was up 0.5c at $2.30.
Fisher & Paykel Healthcare was up 2c at $2.16 cents, The Warehouse was up 1c at $3.42, Kathmandu was down 2c to $2.04, and Hallenstein Glasson was unchanged at $3.31.
Vector was up 2c at $2.47, Ebos Group was up 6c to $6.70, Cavalier Carpets was unchanged at $3.20 and NZX was unchanged at $2.30.
New Zealand Wine Company was unchanged at $1.10 after it lost $3.2 million in the year to June, an increase of 68% compared with the previous year.
Pyne Gould Corporation was down 1c at 31c after saying it expects to report an after-tax loss of $141.1 million in the year to the end of June.
