The NZX50 ended the week up 16 points, or 0.4%, to close at 3519 on Friday.
In the major share movements:
Fletcher Building was up 10 cents to $9.26 and Telecom is down 2 cents to $2.165.
Contact Energy was up 3 cents to $5.88 after Thursday's announcement of a $350 million dollar rights issue.
Auckland International Airport was up 0.5 cents to $2.225, Air New Zealand was up 1 cent at $1.12.
Sky City Entertainment rose 3 cents at $3.53 while Sky Television was unchanged at $5.82.
Pumpkin Patch edged up up 1 cent to $1.28, The Warehouse rose 4 cents to $3.64, and Goodman Fielder was up 2 cents to $1.46 after issuing a profit warning on Thursday.
Restaurant Brands was up 2 cents to $2.48, while New Zealand Oil and Gas lost 1 cent to close at 97 cents.
In Australia, the ASX200 was down 66 points, or 1.3%, to 4806.
In the currency markets, the New Zealand dollar was trading at 80.13 US cents, 73.46 Australian, 48.10 pence, 65.40 yen, and 0.5402 euro. The TWI stood at 68.19.
