Air New Zealand has increased its fares by an average of 3% as fuel prices continue to surge.
The airline says the price of jet fuel has increased by 30% over the past six months.
The rises came into effect on Monday for domestic flights and those within the Tasman and Pacific.
Long haul flights will also rise in price on 21 February.
Qantas also recently announced it was increasing the fuel surcharge on international airfares.
