More than 80% of companies say they will use ultra fast broadband within a year of it being rolled out.
A survey by Crown Fibre Holdings and the Telecommunications Users Association questioned 280 businesses and found most want to use it to drive their productivity.
However 60% of respondents say they want more information and advice on how to make the best use of ultra fast broadband.
The Government is currently in the process of tendering $1.5 billion worth of contracts create an ultra fast broadband network covering most of the country.
