Goodman Fielder is looking to raise $175 million in a bond sale to its investors in New Zealand.

The Australasian food company says funds raised from the offer will be used to repay existing bank debt of the Goodman Fielder group.

The minimum interest rate for the bonds has been set at 7.25% per annum.

Interest on the bonds will be paid quarterly in arrears, with the first payment to be made on 16 February next year.
