Dairy prices have edged down in Fonterra's latest online fortnightly auction.
The world's biggest dairy exporter says the average selling price for all products fell 1.3% to $US3591 a tonne, while whole milk powder fell 2.1%.
Last month, Fonterra lifted the forecast milk payout by 10 cents to between $7 and $7.10 a kilogram of milk solids.
The co-operative says demand, particularly from Asia, should remain robust.
